Ladies… DON’T BE AFRAID OF THE WEIGHT ROOM!!!
I know you have been bombarded with myths about getting “bulky” or “manly” and how women should lift light weights with high reps…. I know some of you are afraid to look dumb in front of the boys and other serious lifters….
Put all that silly nonsense behind you!! HEAVY WEIGHTS WILL NOT MAKE YOU MANLY, AND WOMEN SHOULD LIFT HEAVY WEIGHTS. We do not have the levels of testosterone necessary to build “manly” muscles without the help of steroids. If the weight you are lifting is easy, your body will not change! You need to GIVE IT A REASON TO CHANGE by lifting weights that are DIFFICULT to lift if you want to “tone up”!!!
Who cares what the boys and serious lifters think? You’re there for YOU.. not to impress some random strangers!!!Believe in yourself, ignore the stupid myths and random third parties and JUST DO IT for YOU.
If lifting will make me look like this.. I’ll gladly do it.
